Lucian Ercolani Ercol chair Tapiovaara style 50s 60s

A great 1950s chair - designed by Lucian Ercolani / Ercol. Seat in ash wood, the rest in beech. With original black coating. Very similar to the famous design by Tapiovaara. It measures approx. hight backrest 98 cm/ 38.5", width 43.5 cm/ 17.1", height seat 46 cm/ 18.1". 

Good vintage condition, with small traces of use on the black paint - please see pictures. One vertical tension crack in the seat, no influence on stability or comfort. More pictures available on request. All timber joints in perfect working order. A charming mid-century original.
