Brass wall plate - Alois Wörle Neues Münchener Kunstgewerbe

A tall brass wall plate - workshop 'Neues Münchener Kunstgewerbe', founded in 1919 by the gold- and silver smith Alois Wörle. Hand-hammered decor, in best Art Nouveau-style. Brass, with a relatively high part of copper (this is why the plate has a touch of red in its colour). Diameter 45 cm / 17.7'. Marked underneath with 'NMK'. Normal ageing traces, one tiny dent which is almost invisible. You have to search for it! Apart from this, the object is in very good undamaged condition. A rare collector's item.
